Im Sommer diesen Jahres drehte der Kurzfilm Pixels weite Kreise durch die internationale Bloglandschaft. In dem Film von Patrick Jean fallen Videospielcharaktere der 80er Jahre über New York her. Laut Hollywood Reporter hat nun Happy Madison — die Produktionsfirma von Adam Sandler — Interesse bekundet, basierend auf dem Kurzfilm die Pixelinvasion ins Kino zu bringen. Man darf gespannt sein.
