Was machen 8-Bit Chiptuner, wenn sie sich selbst Grenzen auferlegen wollen? Genau, 1-Bit Musik mit ihrem ZX Spectrum und ein wenig Homebrew Software.

“This is straight out the tracker with no post processing at all. I wanted to highlight the unique sound of this 1 bit sound engine. What some make call “quirks” I’d say it gives it character :D. You get some gnarly distortion like effects when you have two channels hitting the same notes at the same time in different octaves because the ZX spectrum wasn’t made to do more than one sound at a time originally, so programmers of sound engines for this machine have to be pretty creative. Thus, you possibly get some sounds out of this that would be a little hard to emulate with anything else.”

Was Jredd hier aus Beepola und der Phaser 1 Sound Engine rausholt, ist wirklich unglaublich. Läuft bei mir nun seit ein paar Stunden auf Repeat.
